how does it work?
We start with an in-depth 1-on-1 session to go over your business history and business and marketing goals. We'll talk about the marketing you've already started doing and address any of the issues you've been having getting results. Then we'll create a focused marketing plan designed to drive more traffic to your online shop and turn more of that traffic into sales. I assign you homework based on the marketing plan, and we check in once a month to see how your campaigns are doing.
We’ll do a 90-minute kickoff meeting to discuss your current marketing efforts, products and customers.
We'll talk a little bit about potential strategies in this first session so I can get a feel for what you're comfortable doing and what your strengths and reservations are.

I work behind the scenes to build out a marketing plan specific to your business. This will be a working outline that includes an overall strategy and recommendations for what channels you should use to reach your customers online and how.
I'll also identify metrics you can use to assess whether or not these tactics are working and help you set up goals and funnels to track customer activity on your website.
We'll schedule a 60-minute meeting to go over everything and answer any questions.

e-COMMERCE Entrepreneurs USING SHOPIFY
My e-commerce expertise is in Shopify, so I work best with entrepreneurs and businesses using Shopify as their e-commerce platform. That isn't to say I can't work with someone using WooCommerce or Marketo, it's just that some of the tactics I'll recommend will require a bit more heavy lifting on your part.
what IF I NEED HELP EXECUTING SOME OF THIS STUFF, TOO?
At some point, most of the entrepreneurs I've worked with need help setting up a campaign, figuring out some complex metrics, or just want to outsource a marketing task to someone who knows what they're doing. While I don't handle marketing tasks on a regular basis for clients, I'm happy to work with you on things like first-time setup of a Facebook campaign. We usually dedicate our regular monthly meeting to this tactic and execute it via an online meeting with screen share. That way you can learn from me so you can execute it next time!
whAT'S THE MINIMUM COMMITMENT?
Marketing is a process, not an event. In order for any marketing plan to be effective, we need time to grow, measure and tweak. I recommend working with me for a minimum of 6 months, but I don't require that commitment.
ARE YOU GOING TO RECOMMEND TACTICS THAT COST MONEY?
Yes. I'm a big fan of Facebook ads and other paid forms of marketing. I will recommend that you use them. If you're not ready to hire a coach and spend money on your marketing efforts, simply hiring me to coach you to do free things probably won't be enough to move the sales needle for you.
how much of a marketing budget should i have?
You can do a lot on a teeny tiny marketing budget! But let's say at least $200/month to put into ads if you can.
